Custom made semi-bespoke EVA
Discovery Orthotics utilises a range of pre-defined EVA designs to create custom made semi-bespoke devices. The design parameters were created by our technicians, with clinical input to ensure they are functional and supportive. Just like other custom made EVA devices these are highly versatile, allowing the prescriber to specify width, arch height, heel cup height, cut-outs and Kirby skives amongst others.
A perfect alternative to the fully bespoke EVA devices when dealing with typical foot types, no casts or impressions need to be taken of the patient and all parameters can be specified through the prescription form.
As no casting is required for the manufacturing of these insoles, prescribers are encouraged to provide detailed templates to ensure the accurate manufacturing of the shells.
