Discovery Orthotics has been manufacturing bespoke podiatry orthotics for NHS organisations for over 28 years and has a team of skilled manufacturing technicians with over 50 years’ combined experience.
Our wealth of experience in podiatry orthotics manufacturing and customer service has provided the foundation for Discovery Orthotics to become a trusted supplier of quality custom made and off the shelf devices to NHS and private organisations alike.
Discovery Orthotics specialise in the design, manufacture and supply of quality custom made podiatry orthotics and we believe that a high level of direct communication with prescribers assists us in providing the service you are looking for.
The continued success of Discovery Orthotics created the need to move to a larger, purpose built manufacturing site in August 2017 at Kent’s leading science park, Discovery Park in Sandwich. The move has provided the additional space required to increase manufacturing capacity and house our new additional high end equipment.
At Discovery Orthotics we endeavour to improve in every aspect of our service, this combined with our stringent quality checking procedure ensures we supply you with premium devices every time.

Innovation
Discovery Orthotics has a track record of being innovative and being able to fulfil clinician’s requirements for challenging prescriptions. We have an expert team of approachable technicians with access to a wide range of materials and manufacturing techniques, to enable even the most demanding prescription requirements to be met.
Our innovative approach extends not only to bespoke devices but to the manufacturing and development of new products, for example our PolyPods range and our 3D printing activity. Discovery Orthotics is working towards the production of 3D printed insole technology. Please note that the 3D printed insole technology is still in development and not currently available for clinicians to prescribe.
